Synopsis Overgrowth picks up where Lugaru left off, with the world in a state of disarray. The game plays as a 3D third-person action game, set in a pre-industrial world of anthropomorphic fighter rabbits, wolves, dogs, cats and rats. It was announced on Septemfor Windows, OS X and Linux. In addition to anthropomorphic rabbits and wolves, the Overgrowth Universe now already includes cats, dogs, and rats □️ Wikipedia: Overgrowth is an action video game under development by Wolfire Games. However, in a 2012 interview with British video gaming website zConnection, the Wolfire team stated that they are planning on continuing the story of Turner, a couple of years after the events of Lugaru. As of yet there is no definite story line. As of Alpha v197, there is are two additional gameplay modes, one dubbed "Arena", in which the player is pitted against procedurally generated enemies in gladiatorial matches, and one dubbed "Challenge", a collection of 12 levels in which the player must complete a certain task or set of tasks. The game currently consists of a collection of maps (some of which are populated by enemies) which the player is able to explore (and modify if they are so inclined). Overgrowth uses a custom game engine codenamed "Phoenix", and a lot of work has been put into making it accessible to modding. Gameplay emphasises 3rd-person, fluid, fast-paced melee combat, and 3D-platforming. Turner will again be the main character but I'm not supposed to leak any major plot points just yet. What is the Overgrowth story-line? Overgrowth will pick up a few years after Lugaru left off in the same universe. The main character is Turner, the rabbit from Lugaru. We are planning to include 5 character types in Overgrowth: rabbits, wolves, cats, rats and dogs. Fans can expect better graphics, better physics, more characters, more moves, great mod support, and co-operative multiplay. While Overgrowth will be inheriting the spirit of Lugaru's tried and true combat system, it will also benefit from every cutting edge feature that our new Phoenix Engine has to offer. □□"The continuation of Lugaru, an action-adventure game featuring martial arts fights between anthropomorphic characters"□□ Overgrowth is a 3d action-adventure game for Mac, Windows, and Linux, available now from the independent game studio, Wolfire Games. repositories □️ Reviews □️ Source of this Entry: - □ Social Networking Update (on Mastodon) □️ Title: Overgrowth □️ What's: An action-adventure game featuring martial arts fights between anthropomorphic characters □️ □️ □ #LinuxGaming #Action #Adventure #Fighting #LibreEngine #Commercial □ Our entry: □️ Update: ⚗️ Now open source □️ Changes: □ From: □ □️ □️ □️ (empty): □️ Technical informations □ Social Devs ( Wolfire Games ): Devs ( Edward Rudd ): The Project: □️ Related ] ] □️ Misc.
